Hi, I’m Kiera!
Connecting with, and helping others is truly my passion. My clients' courage in showing up and embracing their narratives inspires me profoundly every single day. I’m a counselor, but a human too, with my own stories of hurt, heartbreak and resilience; shaping my empathy and understanding of the healing journey.
As a child, I was compassionate and inquisitive, constantly absorbing the world around me, feeling deeply and questioning everything. My insatiable curiosity and sensitivity often left me overwhelmed by the emotions of others, yet it fueled my drive to understand and support those around me. As I got older, that overwhelming feeling transformed into a profound desire to channel my empathy and curiosity into a meaningful career. I knew that becoming a therapist would allow me to utilize these innate qualities to guide and assist others in navigating their own emotional landscapes.
Fast forward a few years, I landed at the University of Arkansas, where I earned my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Counseling. I learned a lot, both personally and professionally, made incredible connections, and fondly held on to my younger self’s sense of curiosity. I have called NWA home for almost a decade now, and feel lucky to live here with my husband, and two dachshunds, Ollie and Winston (yes, I can most definitely show you pictures). Outside of counseling, you’ll most likely find me drinking too much coffee, reading, cooking, laughing with friends, and spending time outdoors.
Thank you for taking the time to read more about my story! I look forward to connecting with you, and welcoming you into the studio.
Be Well,
